By accessing or using www.ravnica.fr (the "Site") and its services
(the "Services"), you (the "User") agree to comply with these Terms of Use, together with our
Privacy Policy and Code of Conduct.
General usage
Ravnica.fr is a small, non-commercial project that recreates an outdated version of a video game for
educational and preservation purposes only. It is an unofficial, private server. World of Warcraft
is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Ravnica.fr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored
by Blizzard Entertainment, and claims no ownership of any World of Warcraft intellectual property,
which remains the property of its rightful owner. We will comply promptly with any legitimate request from
the rights holder, including the removal of infringing content or the discontinuation of the Services.
The Site and the Services do not provide or distribute any game client files, and do not
provide any modification to such client files. By using the Site or the Services, the User agrees to take
responsibility for complying with the game's own EULA and terms.
The Site, any portion of it, and the Services may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, or
otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose except as expressly permitted by Ravnica.fr. Ravnica reserves
the right to refuse service at its discretion if it believes a User's conduct violates applicable law or is
harmful to the interests of Ravnica, its other users, or its affiliates. For more detail, please read the
Code of Conduct.
Distribution
Ravnica.fr does not support or provide the distribution of any game clients. Downloading a game client is the
sole responsibility of the User, who agrees to do so at their own risk.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Services. If you are below the age of
digital consent in your country of residence (15 years in France), you must have the consent of a parent or
legal guardian.
Site account
The User may register a regular account and password for the Services free of charge. You are responsible for
all activity carried out under your account, associated accounts, and passwords. The Site is not
responsible for unauthorised access to your account, nor for any loss of virtual items associated with it.
Events, videos and community creations
By registering an account, you agree that your account or characters may appear in events, streams, or videos
created for promotional or review purposes.
Access to the Site and Services
Ravnica provides free and unlimited access to the Site and the Services, on a best-effort basis and without
any guarantee of availability.
Submissions
Ravnica assumes no obligation with respect to any content you submit ("Submission"), and no confidential or
fiduciary relationship is created by the Site's receipt of a Submission. By making a Submission, you grant
Ravnica a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use it in connection with the Site and
the Services, without further compensation. You retain your moral rights to the extent they cannot be waived
under applicable law.
Third-party content
Neither Ravnica, nor its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, nor any third party, guarantees the
accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content. Some content may represent the opinions of users;
Ravnica does not endorse and is not responsible for any opinion, advice, or statement made by anyone other
than its authorised staff. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ravnica shall not be liable for
any loss or harm caused by a User's reliance on information obtained through the Site or the Services. It is
the User's responsibility to evaluate such information.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The User agrees that use of the Site and the Services is at the User's sole risk. The Site and the Services
are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent
permitted by applicable law, Ravnica and its providers make no warranties of any kind, express or implied,
including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and do not warrant that
the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RAVNICA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY
DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF, OR
INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE AND THE SERVICES — INCLUDING DATA LOSS, ERRORS, INTERRUPTIONS, VIRUSES, OR
UNAUTHORISED ACCESS.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law
(such as liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).
Termination of service
Ravnica reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any aspect of
the Services at any time. Ravnica may suspend or terminate any User's access, without notice, for any conduct
it reasonably believes violates these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
Donations
Donations are voluntary and made purely in appreciation of the Services. Donations grant nothing in
return and confer no in-game advantage of any kind (no "pay-to-win"). Donations are used solely to
help cover the running costs of the server and are never used to generate profit. Ravnica assumes no financial
obligation with respect to donations. You must be over 18 to donate. Ravnica is not liable for any
unauthorised donation.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules, any dispute relating
to the Site or the Services falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
Acknowledgement
By accessing or using the Site and the Services, the User agrees to be bound by these Terms, including
the disclaimers. Ravnica may modify the Site and these Terms at any time; the "last updated" date
reflects the latest version. If you do not agree with these Terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to
discontinue your use of the Services.

This policy explains what personal data Ravnica.fr collects, why, and your rights under the
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
Account data: username, email address, and a password verifier (your password is
never stored in plain text — only an SRP6 verifier, the same mechanism the original game used).
Technical data: IP address and connection/access logs (website and game realms).
Game data: your characters and related gameplay information.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
To create and operate your account and provide the Services — performance of a contract
/ your consent at registration. To verify your email and allow password resets —
security of the Services. To keep IP addresses and logs for security, anti-fraud and
anti-abuse — our legitimate interest in protecting the Site and its users.
Payment or financial information is never submitted to, disclosed to, or stored by the Site;
it is handled solely by our payment processor under their own terms.
How long we keep it (retention)
We keep your account, personal data and characters for as long as your account is active.
Activity means any connection to the website or to the game realms. After two (2) years without any
such activity, your account, personal data and characters are permanently deleted. Each new
connection resets this two-year period.
Exception: from your account page you may enable the option "Never erase my
character", which keeps your account and characters indefinitely, until you choose to delete them or
ask us to.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase ("right to be forgotten"), restrict, or object to
the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, contact us on our Telegram. You also have the right to lodge a
complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL
(www.cnil.fr).
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Basic data (such as IP address and access logs) may be shared with our
partners or the competent authorities in joint efforts to counter potential illegal activity.
Cookies
The Site uses a single, strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. No
advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no system is perfectly
secure, and we cannot guarantee that your personal data or private communications will always remain private.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date reflects the current version.
